The usual suspects.
Most IOC issues come down to drivers, USB connections, or imaging software settings, not the camera hardware itself. These problems are almost always fixable without replacing anything.
Flipped or reversed images. The mirror/flip setting is off in your camera driver or imaging software. A quick configuration fix.
Black screen. Camera connects but shows nothing. Usually a driver conflict, USB power issue, or wrong input source selected in software.
Camera not recognized. Doesn't appear in Device Manager or imaging software at all. Often a bad USB cable, unpowered hub, or missing driver.
Poor image quality or lag. Low resolution, choppy feed, or colour issues. Usually driver or USB bandwidth related.

Try these first.
Swap the USB port
Plug directly into a USB port on the computer, not a hub. Use a blue USB 3.0 port if available. Avoid extension cables.
Check Device Manager
Search "Device Manager" in Windows. Look for the camera under Imaging Devices or USB devices. A yellow warning icon means the driver needs reinstalling.
Check the flip/mirror setting
If the camera shows up but the image is reversed, look for a Mirror or Flip option in your imaging software camera settings or in the camera driver properties.
Reinstall the camera driver
Uninstall the camera from Device Manager, unplug it, restart, and let Windows reinstall the driver fresh when you plug it back in. For cameras with vendor drivers, download from the manufacturer's site.
